For as long as I can remember natural hair has been one of those things that has come and go. Although I am an “All Natural” hair stylist it’s what I choose to do, just like some of our sistas who still go to the beauty salon for her relaxers. I find it quit immature when I go on other blogs and hair forums and see women arguing over how relaxers are wrong and the women that wear relaxers always find themselves in the defense because they are being referred to as “creamy crack heads”. Get over it! Do you know how many women flip flop over the thought of being natural vs having a relaxer? The answer is plenty. Plenty women flip flop, some who are our mothers, our sisters, our daughters, and etc. Should we treat them any different because of their preference to have chemicals or no chemicals in their hair? And what about you chicks who rock naturals and still color your hair? That’s a chemical, duhhhhhhh!!!! Point is when some other new trend comes around and it calls for you to put chemicals in your hair and you do it, I want you to think back to the times when you looked down on other women who chemically processed their own hair when to you, it wasn’t cool. Oh yeah and I didn’t forget about you “I use Keratin treatments to manage my hair better, but I’m still natural” is a lie and a lie don’t care who told it. Yall need to stop!!! Its still a damn chemical boo boo…I just want us all to stop with this whole I’m better than you because bull crap and embrace one another instead one head at a time.
